The Sanctuary opened up for a BYO picnic lunch and guided walks which highlighted the flora and fauna to be found there. Information packs about the area were distributed.

This activity was supported by the Peoples and Parks Foundation, G21 Geelong Regional Alliance, and the Medibank Community Fund.
